



Stress is often touted to be the great villain against health in our society. Yet, it is stress that keeps us alive, and often stress that allows us to really feel alive. The problem lies in its management. In our society, we suffer from a stress management disability. Biofeedback can help you succesfully learn to transform your own stress, from pain and fatigue to success.
I use a type of biofeedback called "HeartMath." Using an effect called "heart rate variability," it helps you to link your emotions with your mind. It is a simple yet effective method to learn how to transform your own stress. It's easy to learn, and can alter dramatically how you feel about your life. The biofeedback program helps you to learn a basic meditation skill and understand how it is affecting you in the moment.
The HeartMath methodology can have profound effects on physiology as well. Studies have shown that biofeedback reduces heart disease, manages chronic pain, improves sleep and waking energy. It can also improve focus and performance in the workplace, and has even been able to help children that have been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) return to function in a school setting.
