Alzheimer's Disease -
New Treatments
Dr. Adriana and I attended an amazing seminar in May 2008. The focus was on biological treatments for schizophrenia, post-partum depression, autism, and ADHD. The presenter was the Dr. William Walsh of the Pfeiffer Institute in Illinois. This center has treated thousands and thousands of patients suffering from these diseases using highly-specialized high dose vitamin and mineral therapies (sometimes known as orthomolecular medicine) for over twenty years. They have published a number of studies in various peer-reviewed journals discussing their findings. We were fortunate enough to learn some of their protocols for treatment at this seminar.

The Pfeiffer Institute's latest area of research is in Alzhemier's Disease. In the pilot study, nearly 2/3 patients under treatment either stopped cognitive function loss or actually improved memory, and sustained the improvement for over 2 to 5 years. While this is their newest area of research, the initial results are very promising. In this seminar, Dr. Adriana and I also learned the basic treatment protocols for patients suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. We are excited to share it with you and your loved ones.
